We are proud of our Church and are happy to share it with those of all faiths and none! Whilst tours of the Church are held all through the summer through <tony@folkestonewalkingtours.co.uk> Heritage Open Days provide an opportunity to invite people from near and far to drop in and look around over a whole open day.

Heritage Open Days are held annually in September and are part of a national event run by the National Trust to open up heritage spaces to the public that they would often not normally see. We try to open the Church for at least one Saturday during this festival, usually that which co-incides with the annual Ride and Stride fundraiser held for The Friends of Kent Churches.

So come in! Look around! See our heritage and displays. Take a tour with one of the congregation to learn more about the heritage of St. Peter’s! And stay for some tea and cake!

When the famous artist and founder of the Romney Marsh Churches Trust, John Doyle MBE PPRWS took a tour recently, he declared St. Peter’s to be the prettiest Victorian Church he had seen. We hope that you will feel the same!

THE NEXT HERITAGE OPEN DAY WILL BE HELD ON:

SATURDAY 14th SEPTEMBER 2019
